Destiny 2 sandbox is getting a major shakeup with the next season and here are the highlights of what you can expect.

Bungie will buff and nerf Destiny 2's underused and overused guns once again when Season 23 hits and here are all the details you need to start preparing.

General weapon fixes

Drang and Zaouli's Bane will load ammo at the correct part of their animation.

Auto Rifles

Increased damage in PvE against non-boss enemies by 12.5 per cent.

Glaives

  • Reduced the delay after firing before you can melee from 0.75 seconds to 0.2 seconds 
  • Shield energy recharges passively at the rate of one per cent per second while carrying the glaive
  • Shield damage resistance in PvP changed
    • Base damage resistance is still 50 per cent
    • Against primary ammo and melee attacks it is 30 per cent
  • Increased projectile speed by 30 per cent
  • Increased projectile damage in PvE by 25 per cent
  • Decreased projectile damage in PvP

New damage values in PvP are:

  • Aggressives: 123
  • Adaptives: 113 
  • Rapid-Fires: 101

Sniper Rifles

Increased damage in PvE by 15 per cent. Applied to all sniper rifles.

Vex Mythoclast

Increased damage in PvE:

  • Vs bosses +20 per cent
  • Vs red bars +10 per cent
  • Vs champions +200 per cent when in Linear Fusion Rifle mode

Revision Zero

Increased damage by 100 per cent vs champions.

Thorn

Gets a catalyst that gives it a huge range buff.

Glaives

  • Class glaives
    • Gets one ammo on perk activation to allow usage without ammo
    • Doesn't drain shield energy when reloading to activate the perk
    • No longer deactivated by reload or stowing the weapon
  • Edge of Intent
    • Healing turret now gives Cure and Restoration
    • AoE is now eight meters
    • Mag size up from four to five
  • Edge of Action
    • Passing through the bubble now grants bonus reload speed, handling, and a small amount of stacking bonus damage on top of the overshield
    • Bubble health down from 8,000 to 2,400
  • Edge of Concurrence
    • Lighting Seeker jolts targets but does less damage

Exotics

Osteo Striga no longer has bonus damage scalar on poison damage to get it in line with Necrotic Grip.

Salvation's Grip will now shatter fewer crystals to avoid booting the player into orbit.

Winterbite deals 25 per cent more damage in large projectile detonation, self-damage reduced and danger zone reduced.
