Next Halo Infinite technical preview kicks off this week

343 Industries have announced that Halo Infinite will soon have two tech preview tests. The first one will kick off on Thursday evening, September 23 while the second one is coming on September 30.

Halo Infinite will soon host not one but two technical tests and in the latest Inside Infinite blog post, the developer 343 Industries have detailed everything that players can expect from these tests as well as the start and end dates.

343 promise a brand new map when the next test kicks off this Thursday and we'll also get a chance to try out the Big Team Battle mode next week. This test will be available to everyone who signed up for Halo Insider program before September 13. 

Here are the details for Halo Infinite technical previews:

CONTENT

  • Social Arena (including objective modes and a new map on Sunday, September 26)
  • Bot Arena (including objective modes)
  • Big Team Battle (debuting September 30 - October 3)
    • Three modes on Fragmentation
  • Training Mode
  • Weapon Drills
  • Customization
  • Battle Pass
  • New Halo Waypoint app & web experiences 

WEEKEND 1 (ARENA)

  • Thursday evening, September 23:
    • Build becomes available for download Thursday night
    • Training Mode and Weapon Drills are available
  • Friday, September 24 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
  • Saturday, September 25 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
  • Sunday, September 26 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
  • Monday, September 27 @ 10am PT: Flight access closes until Weekend 2

343 Industries Halo Infinite - Campaign Co-Op and Forge delayed Halo Infinite - Big Team Battle will be included in the upcoming tech preview

Halo Infinite is officially launching on December 8, 2021, for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
