343 Industries have released a minor update for Halo Infinite technical preview build on the PC platform, improving the frame pacing and frame rate by 15 per cent while also reducing stuttering.
This weekend, Halo Infinite will once again host a technical preview for multiplayer and for the first time since the testing started, everyone will get to play it, even if you never signed up to be Halo Insider.
Players on PC will also be happy to hear that this upcoming test will feature some PC specific performance improvements since some players with certain hardware reported that the game does not as well as it should be.
343 Industries revealed that a minor patch for the Halo Infinite PC build has been released, fixing stuttering issues and improving frame-rate by 15 per cent.
Halo Infinite PC technical preview update details:
"We released a small update for the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Technical Preview on PC that should reduce hitching, improve frame-pacing, and increase framerates by about 15%. All Steam participants can begin downloading it today. There is no update needed for Xbox participants."
Halo Infinite technical test will go live today - September 30, 2021, with training mode and weapon drills will be available. The matchmaking phase will go live tomorrow - October 1, and will run until Monday, October 4, 2021.
Halo Infinite is officially hitting the shelves on December 8, 2021, for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
