343 Industries have hosted a live stream where they previewed some of the content that will be featured in the upcoming Halo Infinite technical preview tests.

Halo Infinite technical test, which kicks off this week, is set to introduce two brand new maps. One of them is the desert Behemoth map, which is made for Halo's 4v4 mode, while the other one is named Fragmentation and it's for Big Team Battle, Halo's 12v12 mode.

Both of these maps will be available to players during the tefchnical test as we already mentioned and in last night's live stream, the developer 343 Industries revealed more footage from these maps.

The Behemoth looks stunning visually and like a proper old school map. It also emphasizes vehicular combat since it has this big sand ring around the main buidling in the middle. You can basically keep driving around the map in circles, offering support to your teammates.

As for the Big Team Battle map Fragmentation, this one is set in different biome with pine trees, similar to the locations we got to see in the campaign gameplay. Both maps really look great and while the Fragmentation does not look as open as Behemoth since it has a lot of narrow passages and rocks for cover, we don't have any doubts that it will suit the mode perfectly. We cannot wait to test both of these when the technical test kicks off this week.

Halo Infinite is launching on December 8, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
