Sony's first-party studio Naughty Dog who are known for the critically acclaimed franchises such as The Last of Us and Uncharted are rumoured to be working on a brand new IP.
We know that the studio are on a hiring spree for a brand new game but so far, the details are pretty scarce. Studio co-president Neil Druckmann only confirmed that he is working on a new game and that's about it.
However, some PlayStation fans think that Naughty Dog are teasing their next game in the recently released remake of The Last of Us.
Fans spotted some interesting posters in-game, showcasing female characters, dragons, and other mystical creatures. Check them out below:
Naughty Dog have a history of including hints for their new games via in-game assets. The studio teased The Last of Us Part 2 in Uncharted games, mentioning the continuation of the deadly virus.
Now, it's entirely possible that the posters are not connected to Naughty Dog's new game in any way so keep that in mind before getting all excited.
Until officially confirmed, it's all speculation and rumour, and nothing more.
Officially, Naughty Dog are currently working on a battle royale The Last of Us game, which is yet to be properly revealed. We got some minor details a couple of months ago when Neil Druckmann revealed that the scope of the title is much bigger than originally planned.
The game was rumoured to be a multiplayer mode for the Last of Us Part 2 but Naughty Dog expanded it into a highly ambitious standalone title. More details about this one are expected next year.
