NetEase and 24 Entertainment have announced the Naraka: Bladepoint World Championship 2022 which will be the biggest esports for the title thus far.
The prize pool is there to match the grandeur of the occasion as it will stand at $1.5 million. That's quite the chunk of change and the higher the teams place, the bigger slice of the pie they take home.
Singapore will be the host country and the tournament will go on from December 2 to December 18, 2022. Initially, the group stage will begin at the earlier date and it will wrap up on December 7. From that point, the remaining teams will proceed to the knockout phase on December 15.
There will be a total of 24 participating teams, with 12 of them being from China while the rest will hail from Southeast Asia, Australia, Vietnam, North America and Europe.
Placement will be determined by the number of points teams score, with each kill earning points for the team. The points will eventually be multiplied at the end of a match, based on the final placement.
Those who wish to observe the matches can do so via Twitch and Facebook live streams and more about the game's future will be shared during the event.
