MultiVersus is an upcoming free-to-play crossover fighting game developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. The game will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC upon its official worldwide release.
The game was officially announced in 2021, with the early access and open beta phases of the game spanning over July 2022 to June 2023. The game will be officially released on May 28, 2024.
With the game's release, Warner Bros. has announced that all returning players will receive exclusive in-game rewards. Here's a complete look at all the new rewards and the new battle pass system for MultiVersus.
All Exclusive Rewards for Returning Players in MultiVersus
Warner Bros. has revealed that returning players who log in to MultiVersus by June 11 will receive the premium Season 1 Battle Pass. This will give players the opportunity to unlock Jason Voorhees, the first premium tier reward.
Those who took part in the Multiversus open beta and come back to the game at any time will receive the Banana Guard announcer, special editions of the Rising Stars ringout, and the Snow Suit Finn skin.
The Banana Guard will be given to players who finish the game's tutorial. The variant of Lady Banana Guard will be also awarded upon completion of the seven-day challenge.
The developers stated that players will have the opportunity to win Gleamium in both the free and paid tiers of the battle pass, in addition to showcasing the free rewards and the announcement that Jason Voorhees will be available in MultiVersus as a reward for the Season 1 battle pass.
The developers also revealed that at MultiVersus' launch, four different forms of currency will be accessible: Fighter, Prestige, Gleamium, and Perk. Prestige will be awarded to players who return to MultiVersus based on how many cosmetics they bought during the open beta.
On the other hand, the Battle Pass will be accessible for eight weeks, after which Jason will be bought using in-game money or character tokens.
