EA Sports have finally rolled out a reveal trailer for the highly anticipated Madden NFL 21, showing off new features, as well as the key art, which has MVP Lamar Jackson on the cover.
"Go All Out in Madden NFL 21 with innovative gameplay mechanics that offer advanced levels of control and inspire creativity on both sides of the ball. Feel all-out control with the new Skill Stick ball-carrier system, dominate the edge with fresh pass rush moves, experience more open-field realism with tackle improvements, and have more fun with user-controlled celebrations", they wrote.
NFL Madden 21's new Skill Stick feature is both an offensive and defensive feature that's meant to deliver advanced levels of control.
As you'd expect on offence, the Skill Stick lets you link up skill-move combos and master new evasive moves in addition to spins, jukes and hurdles. On defence, it lets Madden NFL 21 players handle specific pass rush moves more responsively.
EA Sports also listed tackling improvements, like location-based tackling, breakdown tackling as well as polished dive tackles for extra precision when defending in Madden NFL 21.
On top of that, Madden NFL 21 uses adaptive AI adjustments to prevent spamming easy plays to infinity, so you better make sure you switch it up.
"I grew up playing Madden and owned every copy I could get my hands on, so to be on the cover of Madden NFL 21 is a dream come true, especially when the cover represents so much of my story,” said Lamar Jackson.
If you're thinking about getting onto the next-gen train, you should know that getting NFL Madden 21 for PS4 or Xbox One entitles you to a free upgrade should you decide to switch to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.
