Remember Lost Soul Aside? The Devil May Cry-like action adventure that started as a one-man project before Sony picked it up for publishing and made a console exclusive for PlayStation?
Well, it's finally coming in 2025, it's been announced today in a new gameplay trailer which you can check out below. The game's Steam page is also up, confirming that a lot of players won't be able to actually buy and play Lost Soul Aside since this is another Sony game that requires the unpopular PSN requirement. Here is the list of countries where the PlayStation Network services are available.
Lost Soul Aside - New gameplay trailer
The gameplay trailer is packed with action but at the same time it has an emotional tone to it, hinting at a deep story and relationship between the characters we see in the video.

The gameplay consists of chaining lighting-fast combos, unlocking new abilities and upgrading weapons in true RPG fashion, taking on big bosses and more.

The game's art style reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy while the gameplay is almost identical to Devil May Cry series.
Lost Soul Aside is certainly one of those games that I'll put on my list for 2025, as I really need something to scratch that Devil May Cry itch.
