It seems that developers have hit the nail on the head with this one, as, due to player feedback, they are extending the duration of the casual Guardian event.
This week's weekly update is bringing in a host of new changes, of which the biggest one is the extension of the casual Guardian Raid Event, which is now May 19.
This was done in order to support player progression ahead of the May Content Update. Additionally, developers have adjusted the reward expiration dates for items obtained through the Guardian Raid Event to reflect the new end date of May 19.
Furthermore, the detailed changes to rewards are as follows:
- Updated the rewards available from the Guardian Raid Event
- Gem Chests have been removed in order to combat excess bot farming
- The following items have been added to the weekly reward pool:
- Legendary - Rare Card Pack - 3
- Regulus’ Light Currency Chest - 1
- Uncommon Class Engraving Chest - 10
- Uncommon Combat Engraving Chest - 10
- Rare Class Engraving Chest - 10
- Rare Combat Engraving Chest - 10
- Epic Class Engraving Chest - 10
- Epic Combat Engraving Chest - 10
These changes are sure to help out the players that are late to the new content party, and prepare them, equipment-wise, for the new end-game content which requires quite the gear score to access. Besides, the event is just plain fun, and that has to count for something, right?
