Lords of the Fallen 2 release date
CI Games confirmed that Lords of the Fallen 2 is planned to release sometime in 2023. There is no specific release date but given that the studio plan a global marketing campaign for Q3 2022, an early 2023 release seems realistic.
Lords of the Fallen 2 platforms
At the moment, Lords of the Fallen 2 is confirmed to be launching on PC via Steam and current-gen consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, only.
CI Games have not shared any details regarding the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version so it's safe to assume Lords of the Fallen 2 won't be coming to last-gen hardware.
Lords of the Fallen 2 gameplay details
Sadly, we don't have any gameplay footage nor trailers but CI Games have shared a couple of interesting tidbits, confirming that Lords of the Fallen 2 "will encompass a range of significant upgrades, including a new dark-fantasy aesthetic".
The game will also retain its action-RPG tone, with a fully revised and even challenging combat system. So yeah, the souls-like gameplay is staying which is not surprising at all.
And that's all that CI Games have revealed about Lords of the Fallen 2. Hopefully, we will finally see the game this summer at one of the big games showcases and perhaps get additional details about the story, the setting and gameplay.
