Fans of League of Legends are sure to keep busy during MSI 2026 even if they aren't glued to their screens watching every match. Riot Games has officially announced the return of Pick'Em as well as a whole new prediction game known as Crystal Ball.
MSI esports tournament is already one of the largest events each year for League players, but these activities add some additional incentive for fans to follow along with it. From hoping to knock up a perfect bracket to just wanting to snag some free skins there are plenty of prizes to earn by playing either.
MSI 2026 Pick'Ems Are Back With Exclusive Rewards
MSI 2026 will be hosted in Daejeon, South Korea. Play-In Stage will run June 28-July 1 with Bracket Stage taking place from July 3 through July 12. Pick’Ems powered by AWS will return letting players predict how the tournament will go on LoLEsports.com or inside the League of Legends client itself.
Mechanically, it’s simple. Players set their picks before matches start and the better your picks are, the better the rewards you’ll earn. Players who simply play along and place predictions will earn something.
MSI 2026 Crystal Ball Adds New Predictions
Rather than simply predicting which team will win a match, Crystal Ball will let players predict tournament trends, player performances, champion selections, and more before the tournament starts. Riot told us that four of the Crystal Ball predictions will be determined post Play-In Stage. The remaining 16 predictions will be tallied up when MSI ends.
Players who fill out their Crystal Ball predictions before June 28 (before the first match even starts) will unlock the “Doesn’t Look Good” Smolder emote for participating.
We’ll have more details on MSI 2026 Crystal Ball as the tournament approaches, but this new addition should help those who aren’t super into following stats before the tournament and players who get their normal Pick’Em brackets cut early in the tournament.
How to Get Broken Covenant Jhin
Speaking of rewards, let’s talk about the MSI Grand Prize. Players who go perfect on Pick’Ems will unlock Broken Covenant Jhin, the Jhin champion skin itself, and every reward from previous tiers.
Broken Covenant Jhin will act as the official MSI 2026 revenue-share skin. Riot announced that the skin will retail for 1350 RP and a portion of that will go towards League of Legends esports teams competing all throughout 20.26.
