League of Legends players will be getting a second look at one of their favorite skin universes later this month when Riot releases High Noon Akshan and High Noon Locke.
While skins from the western-inspired theme have been released in the past, Riot has shared the first look at both characters’ splash arts, offering players an initial taste of what’s to come.
Introduced several years ago, High Noon skins started as a simple cowboy aesthetic but have since ballooned into a full-fledged universe filled with angels, demons, dark magic, and wild gunfighting.
Building on that lore, both new skins lean into the darker, more supernatural side of the universe.High Noon Akshan lives up to the champion’s gunslinger swagger. His new splash art sports a bold white cape, intricately detailed western hat, and bright weapon design.
The cosmetic leans into Akshan’ ropy movement kit and adventurous personality, easily marking his best looking skin yet.High Noon Locke leans into darker themes.
League of Legends’ newest champion boasts a demonic-inspired skin that harnesses burning visual effects, crunchy details, and an overall darker palette. As the Ashen Exorcist, Locke slots comfortably into High Noon considering the champions backstory and role fantasy.
Both skins are slotted to release with Patch 26.13 on June 24, 2026. Riot has yet to unveil the skins’ final RP costs, but most recent High Noon skins have come under Epic classification and usually cost 1350 RP.
For now, players are left to speculate about the in-game models, animations, visual effects, chromas, and sound design. The skins certainly look promising based on their splashes, but it remains to be seen if they’ll live up to player’s expectations when they launch in June.
