Riot Games has finally released the official trailer for Worlds 2024, setting the stage for the biggest annual tournament in League of Legends esports.
The Worlds Championship is the zenith of competitive play in League of Legends, where top-level teams from all over the world come to compete for the honor of being crowned the best in the world.
Along with that event, Riot usually comes out with exclusive in-game content and physical merchandise, making it even more special. This is the latest development in Worlds' annual release of new in-game items, including but not limited to: an event pass, emotes, exclusive skins, and much more.
Previously released Worlds and esports skins will return for a limited time and be able to be picked up before disappearing once more. With any major League of Legends event comes a trailer revealing what's next, and this year is no different.
This year's event will see the Worlds 2024 Viego skin, which is considered his best skin today-only contested by Soul Fighter Viego. Of course, there is also the second wave of the Fright Night skins, which means a Legendary Fright Night Viego alongside a Prestige Fright Night Zeri skin are something to look forward to by the players.
It has also shown some of the highlights of the tournament and teased some highly anticipated returns, like the skin line named Dark Star, which is bound to get more Dark Star skins.
Worlds 2024 will kick off with League of Legends Patch 14.19, launching on September 25, 2024, along with all the cooler content that'll come along with it.
