With the 2024 League of Legends World Championship just around the corner, a number of teams have been making their qualifications from different regions to participate in this year's most anticipated esports event.
Riot's Worlds 2024 starts with play-ins running from September 25 to 29, followed by the Swiss stage running from October 3 to 7 and October 10 to 13. Knockouts continue with quarterfinals running from October 17 to 20, semifinals running on October 26 and 27, and the grand finals running on November 2, where the Summoner's Cup is given out.
This year, it has already flexed its muscle on the EMEA team for the wins in all 2024 League of Legends EMEA Championship splits: Winter, Spring, Summer, and topping the Season Finals of the LEC. Further, this is the reason why they are tagged as one of the favorites in this tournament. Aside from G2, Gen.G has been unstoppable, too, after they topped the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational.
