ARAM is easily the most successful League of Legends game mode besides the default one and it's coming to Wild Rift sooner than you expected.
LoL: Wild Rift will commence ARAM testing on April 5, 2021, and it will remain there for either three days or over a month. The initial three-day test will be around just to make sure systems work as intended and if they do, the testing phase will expand for over 30 days, concluding on May 19, 2021.
Veterans from the regular LoL will already know what ARAM is all about but if you are a new player, you might want to give this mode a shot, especially if you are feeling pressure in the regular Summoner's Rift matches.
Namely, ARAM cuts many tactics off, therefore making it easier to learn, by putting both teams of five into a single lane. Furthermore, players don't need to worry about picking a team composition that synergises well since everyone will be assigned a random champion.
This is a great way to learn the game since you will become familiar with many champion kits as you play them randomly. Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to experience their synergies and counters, which should translate into eventually becoming better in Summoner's Rift.
That said, the lack of proper lane farming may still leave you unable to get a hang of vital components of success in LoL, such as CSing, map awareness and ganks, warding and objective focusing.
Considering this is a test phase, some features will be missing. Runes, items, load outs and a few other systems have not been finalised but the free to play roster will be expanded so players can get familiar with more champions during the testing.
