Riot Games launched a new champion in League of Legends: Wild Rift and he will be available at no cost in case you complete associated challenges within the time limit.
League of Legends Wild Rift players can grab Wukong for free until January 1, 2020, if they complete his challenge which consists of seven missions. They are pretty straightforward and you will see them in the client so the key here is to not ignore them. On top of that, each mission has its own rewards which should also be an incentive to complete it.
The first mission is "Fight Me!" and simply requires you to deal 50,000 damage to other champions. While the number is chunky, it's fairly easy to complete this objective in two or three games and grab the 150 Blue Motes.
"Discipline and Patience" will see you either win three games or play three of them with an Ionian champion on the team. The catch is that you can pick an Ionian and just play three games. Champions from Ionia are Ahri, Akali, Jhin, Lee Sin, Master Yi, Varus, Yasuo and Zed.
"Monkey See, Monkey Do" objectives are either 30 takedowns or 25 knock-ups on enemy champions. Takedowns are either kills or assists so if you're going for this route, you might want something with a global presence like Shen or Twisted Fate so you can grab takedowns as fast as possible. Knock-ups are easier though if you play the likes of Xin Zhao, Vi or Yasuo.
"Stop and Think" will task you to either play two games as a Fighter champion or kill six drakes. You can try for both at the same time by playing a Fighter. You can see which champions belong in this group by filtering them on the official site .
"Master and Student" is probably the easiest challenge. You have to either play five games or win one with Master Yi on your team. Just pick Yi if no one else does and you are highly likely to complete the mission quickly.
"Seeing Double" will have you either playing five games or winning one with a Vastayan champion on your team. Nami, Ahri and Wukong fall in this category so the same concept from the previous step applies - if none of them are on your team, pick one and try your best to win.
"A Difficult Lesson" is pretty easy and can be completed in a single match if you pay enough attention to using wards. You just need to place 25 of them across as many games as you need so get to warding and grab your free Wukong.
