Earlier this year, Riot Games got us all buzzing with anticipation as they dropped hints about a mysterious game mode coming to League of Legends. Unfortunately, details were scarce back then, leaving us in the dark. All we knew was that it would feature a 2v2v2v2 format and boast its own dedicated map.
But fear not, because last month, Riot finally pulled back the curtain and revealed their latest creation: Arena, a thrilling 2v2v2v2 game mode. To add to the excitement, this mode comes with its very own maps. Though runes are absent in this mode, they have been replaced by augments, offering a fresh twist on gameplay.
While Arena is not yet available on live servers, players can get a taste of the action through the League of Legends PBE (Public Beta Environment) servers. Despite being in the early stages of testing, the response has been overwhelming, with countless players signing up for the PBE to get a head start on the competition. It's safe to say that this game mode is off to a promising start.
