Riot had planned to release Patch 13.10, the most substantial update of the year, recently. This highly anticipated patch would have brought a complete overhaul of the game's current mythic items.

Notably, Riot also intended to reintroduce hybrid items that possess both attack damage (AD) and ability power (AP) ratios. Additionally, slight adjustments were planned for turrets, teleports, and minions, adding further excitement to the forthcoming update.

In summary, delays are a common occurrence in the gaming industry, and Riot Games and League of Legends have also encountered their fair share. A cyber attack earlier this year disrupted their update schedule, forcing the cancellation of Patch 13.2 and subsequent adjustments to balance updates.

Patch 13.3 was also subject to a 24-hour delay. Recently, players eagerly awaited Patch 13.10, which promised significant changes to mythic and hybrid items, as well as tweaks to turrets, teleports, and minions.

Shortly before the expected release of patch 13.10, Riot took to Twitter to announce a delay in its launch. While they did not provide specific details regarding the reason for the delay, they informed the community that the patch would be available approximately 24 hours later than initially planned.

Furthermore, the Public Beta Environment (PBE) for the subsequent patch, which usually becomes accessible shortly before the live patch release, also experienced a delay due to the postponement of the live patch. Consequently, players would have to wait for the PBE to become available as well.

As part of the mid-season update, Riot had planned to introduce the latest mythic chroma for High Noon Lucian. However, this release also faced a delay, which was unrelated to the delay of the live patch itself.

The reason behind the delay of High Noon Lucian's mythic chroma was attributed to the subpar quality of the bundled icon. Recognizing that it would be illogical to release the chroma without the accompanying icon, Riot made the decision to postpone the entire launch of the mythic chroma.
