League of Legends Patch 26.11 is expected to be huge. Riot Games has declared its intention to focus on supports, jungle diversity, misc balance and several weak champions. Even some of the current strongest champions will see their powers pared down a bit.
In Patch 26.11, Riot is continuing changes to recently altered systems such as roaming supports, jungle champions and lane harassment. Other targets include balancing melee and ranged supports as well as a few select champions.
Expect to see some notable item and rune adjustments too. These could have a major impact on both solo queue and professional play.
Heimerdinger Gets Help While Teemo Takes a Hit
Arguably the biggest beneficiary of Patch 26.11 will be Heimerdinger. After several players lamented how the recent minion aggro change made his turrets unreliable, Riot is buffing turret range from 530 to 550.
They are also improving turret interactions with minions. His E will now grant increased vision duration which should help turret beam their target without losing sight of them mid-gun.Some other champions getting buffs include:
- Diana (jungle-focused buffs)
- Ekko (jungle-focused buffs)
- Kassadin
- Quinn
Direly on the other end of the spectrum, Teemo will be receiving direct nerfs. His E bonus AD scaling is being reduced along with his armour growth. This directly targets his climb as a top laner while compensating for an incoming nerfbat to Statikk Shiv.
Rounding out the biggest champions changes, expect to see big swings on both sides of supports. Tanks and engage supports will get buffs from Aftershock, Guardian, Knight’s Vow, Locket of the Iron Solari, and Heartsteel. Dream Maker, Echoes of Helia, Moonstone Renewer, and Summon Aery are all quite popular tools on ranged supports that will be toned down.
