League of Legends has been around for more than a decade, and yet it remains one of the most played games today. Riot Games' commitment to frequent updates and the introduction of new elements into the game keeps the game fresh for players.
Champion reworks are one of the ways Riot modernizes older characters, refreshing their abilities and gameplay for the current meta.
Over the last few years, many champions have received large-scale changes. In 2024 alone, major reworks shipped for Lee Sin, Teemo, and Skarner. Viktor's rework is also set to go live in the next update. Now, leaks suggest LeBlanc may be the next champion on Riot's rework agenda.
Well-known League of Legends leaker Big Bad Bear recently said he has discovered some references to a LeBlanc rework in some files within the Public Beta Environment. The files, as he mentioned, were labeled "LeBlanc rework," which is rather telling that a change is indeed coming for the Deceiver.
Not only that, Riot recently stated the theme of the next season will be on Noxus, adding a new champion along with reworks. Leblanc is one of the most recognizable Noxian Champions, fitting right into it. In addition, LeBlanc and her organization of the Black Rose are integral to the plot of Arcane Season Two, releasing soon after.
Although not officially confirmed, the LeBlanc rework will, for sure, join live games sometime in early 2025. Until then, the fans of this enigmatic Noxian mage can wonder at what changes Riot has ready.
