For the first time ever, Riot Games have partnered with Tiffany & Co., who are now the official trophy designer of the League of Legends Esports’ Summoner’s Cup.
In addition to various rewards Riot Games are giving out with Pick'Em guesses, they are also bringing back Drops for this year's Worlds.
When logged in with your Riot account on the LoL eSports page, you will have the opportunity to randomly earn a Drop while watching matches and during specific moments of the tournament.
Riot Games have given us examples of what we can expect from said rewards:
- We always drop loot when there is a Pentakill, because that is pretty epic!
- We might drop loot when there is a triple or quadrakill, keep your eyes open!
- We might also drop loot between games or during opening and closing ceremonies, come and see!
While rewards might differ region by region depending on rules and regulations, a majority of this year’s drops will be global or to the majority of the audience watching at that point.
So, the rewards will be given out at games that are incredibly exciting which will make the viewing pleasure of said games even better. We can expect a Drop at the beginning of the first game of each stage as well.
