A couple of days ago, at Paris Games Week, publisher Koch Media has announced through their official Twitter account that silent assassin Christie will be a fully playable character in Koei Tecmo's upcoming fighting game Dead or Alive 6.
One of the most popular Dead or Alive characters and one of the few female villains, a cold-blooded assassin, Christie is making her return in the latest installment of the Dead or Alive series. The trailer shows off a new, different Christie wearing black leather pants and a black top while battling her former associates Bayman and Jan Lee. She's really not showing her assassin skills in this one, quite the contrary, her opponents are enjoying their time with her.
Originally, Christie made her Dead or Alive debut back in 2003 and she's been a regular part of the roster ever since. As one of the game's villains, Christie is a cold and heartless professional assassin, a real femme fatale of the series and her main mission in the storyline is killing Helena Douglas, a French opera singer seeking to avenge her mother's murder.
Christie is the latest character in Dead or Alive 6's roster which counts 20 playable fighters. Some of the confirmed brawlers are Bayman, Ayane, Bass, Hayate, Jan Lee, Hitomi, Kasumi, Marie Rose, Helena, Tina, Mila, Rig, Zack and a newcomer Diego. Koei Tecmo already confirmed two additional fighters, Phase 4 and Nyotengu will enter the game's roster through DLC.

A new fight stage has also been revealed in the trailer. The Road Rage Arena is set on a destroyed highway and is surrounded by flammable vehicles and trucks which can be used in your favor during the fight. Other stages include a new wrestling ring The Muscle, a jungle-themed park Lost Paradise, the main stage of Dead or Alive 6 tournament DOA Colosseum, back ally stage The Throwdown and Forbidden Fortune, set on the ruins of the lost pirate ship.
You know our policy when it comes to pre-orders, just don't do it unless that's absolutely what you want to do with your money, but for the sake of information, we're gonna mention that pre-orders for Dead or Alive 6 start today. The game is out on 15 February 2019 for PC, Play Station 4 and Xbox One.
