Sony have announced that both Spider-Man games from Insomniac are hitting the PC platform this summer.

Sony have decided to start releasing their PlayStation exclusives on the PC, which means that blockbuster games like God of War and Uncharted are no longer available only on the PlayStation platform.

The latest PlayStation exclusive to be announced for the PC is Marvel's Spider-Man and Spider-Man Miles Morales , Insomniac Games' critically acclaimed action adventures that sold over 30 million copies worldwide since their launch in 2018 and 2020, respectively.

Both are coming to PC in the Remastered version, which launched on PlayStation last year. The release date is set for August 22, 2022, and the game will be coming to both Steam and Epic Games Store.

Here's a brand new trailer which showcases the alpha footage from PC.

Insomniac Games did not dive into the technical details but have confirmed that PC players can expect mouse and keyboard support and other standard PC-specific features such as adjustable render settings, ray-traced reflections and more.

The dev team will talk in detail about these and other PC exclusive features at a later date, as we get closer to the release date. Give how previous PC releases from Sony had a wide range of options including unlocked frame rates, ultrawide monitor support, DLSS and more, we expect these to be included with Spider-Man games too. But more on that when Insomniac officially reveal those details.
