Infinity Ward have confirmed that they are looking to fix one of the most annoying bugs in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - the loadout screen bug which occurs every time players try to spawn.
Many players, including some of our staff, have been enjoying the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare but to be fair, the game is far from being perfect. Weapon balancing is one of the biggest priorities for Infinity Ward at the moment and the game already received two updates, nerfing the two most popular weapons - M4A1 and 725 shotgun.
On top of this, there are some issues with camping but the latest bug, which started to happen after one of the recent updates is as annoying as the campers with vehicles on Karst River Quarry's cliffs. It mostly occurs in Ground War when you try to spawn on a certain location.
For example, if you select a teammate as a spawn location and that teammate's status changes from or to "in combat", a loadout screen will suddenly appear, which should not happen and did not happen before the recent updates.
The same thing happens if you try to spawn on one of the points on the map. If an enemy starts capturing it while you're trying to spawn, the loadout screen will popup. As already mentioned, it's pretty annoying and it also happens in other game modes.
Unfortunately, there is no fix for this issue at the moment so players will have to wait for the next patch, which will hopefully arrive soon. Infinity Ward confirmed that this is a known issue and that they are working on a fix. "Known issue on our end, and we're working on a fix," the devs commented on a Reddit post.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
