A leaker claims that Hogwarts Legacy will be at Sony rumoured February/March show with a potential release date in September 2022.

Twitter leaker account NGT who accurately revealed details about Quantic Dream's Star Wars title claims that Hogwarts Legacy is on schedule to launch sometime in September 2022.

Additionally, the leaker expects a brand new trailer on the rumoured PlayStation State of Play event which is reportedly happening in February or March 2022. The trailer would focus on skills/abilities, apparently.

Whether or not this actually happens, it remains to be seen. It's not really hard to predict that Hogwarts Legacy would be at a PlayStation event since it was initially revealed at such a show.

As for the release date prediction, it certainly does make sense since we haven't seen much of the game so far.

Hogwarts Legacy from the developer Avalanche still does not solid release date and the recent rumours about a potential delay to 2023 have concerned players that this Harry Potter universe title might not be coming anytime soon, despite its original 2021 release date.

Luckily, it does seem that the delay rumours are a bit premature since the devs have not confirmed such news via their official channels and WB heads even reiterated that Hogwarts Legacy is a 2022 title just like other WB-published game Gotham Knights.

Hogwarts Legacy is confirmed for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
