IO Interactive have dropped the first details for Hitman 3 Year 2 content that will be coming in 2022.
Hitman 3 Year 2 content has been detailed by the developer IO Interactive who promise plenty of new stuff in the coming year. Before we dive into the juicy stuff, we have to mention that The World of Assassination trilogy, which includes Hitman, Hitman 2 and Hitman 3, has been played by 50 million players. Congrats, IOI!
Hitman 3 Year 2 release date, content and more
IO Interactive have confirmed that Hitman 3 Year 2 content will kick off on January 20, 2022. Over the course of 12 months, players can expect brand new maps, stories, game modes and more.
Ray Tracing on PC
PC players who love shiny visuals with ray tracing will be happy to hear that Hitman 3 will be adding ray tracing on PC sometime in 2022. No specific release date has been revealed for the update but we expect it in the first part of the year.
There's more good news for PC players, those with VR devices, to be more precise. The PC VR update will be coming sometime in January 2022 with technical details and supported platforms info coming before Year 2 officially kicks off.
Elusive Target Arcade
A new game mode named Elusive Target Arcade. It's a change on the well-known Elusive Target formula say IOI in the blog post. All Elusive Target Arcade content will be permanently added to the game, too.
IO Interactive also teased more Year 2 content for Spring 2022 but this major update will remain under the wraps for now.
