IO Interactive have rolled out Hitman 3, the final piece of the trilogy, and the dev now released an accolades trailer that also shows off some notable moments from the game.

We imagine that the development has been quite a ride, as the studio's newfound independence with Hitman 3 publishing meant that everything hinges on how well IO Interactive do.

Thankfully, the studio has come through in a glorious manner, delivering exactly what was promised, which carries even more weight in the wake of Cyberpunk 2077's inability to do so. Okay, we won't go there.

In addition to all the sizzling scores for the conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy, Hitman 3's accolades trailer captures some truly gorgeous in-game visuals. It has to be said - visually, we're talking about the most impressive Hitman game ever.

Hitman 3's gameplay isn't far off from being the most comprehensive yet, all of which makes the game a proper success story. We can only hope that it sets the tone for the quality to expect in 2021, although we're aware that's a bit too optimistic.

Of course, not everything has gone swell, most notably the part where players were told they won't be able to import Hitman 1 and 2 levels into Hitman 3. This caused such a backlash that it had Epic's Tim Sweeney and head honchos of IO Interactive take notice and promise to rectify the issue.

There's also the gaffe with the Arabic language, as the sign in the Dubai level spells from left to right like most western languages. And with Arabic not being very western, you can imagine many people took offense, but IO Interactive are rectifying it as we speak.
