IO Interactive have detailed Hitman 3 game modes, which will be available in the game on launch. Along with the standard Campaign, Elusive Targets and Escalation, the game will also feature Sniper Assassin and Contracts.
The conclusion of the World of Assassination trilogy, Hitman 3, is still far away from its January 2021 release date but despite this, the developers IO Interactive have been sharing quite a lot details about the game and its features such as the locations, story and some of the improvements they've made over Hitman 2.
In the latest reveal over at their blog , IO Interactive have detailed every game mode that players will get to play once Hitman 3 hits the shelves next year.
The game will feature multiple game modes, including already known Contracts Mode, Elusive Targets, Escalations and a lot more. As expected, Campaign is also included and will span across various sandbox locations.
Those who enjoyed Ghost Mode will be disappointed to hear that the 1v1 competitive multiplayer will not return in Hitman 3. Furthermore, IO Interactive are shutting down the Ghost Mode servers for Hitman 2 on Monday, August 31, 2020.
"With our focus currently on other areas of the World of Assassination, Ghost Mode won’t be featured in HITMAN 3 and we have made the difficult decision to shut down the Ghost Mode servers for HITMAN 2," they wrote in the post.
Hitman 3 is officially coming to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One in January 2021.
