Hideo Kojima's PlayStation 5 exclusive DS2, which is a sequel to his walking simulator Death Stranding should get a new trailer within the next 15 days according to the latest report from reliable dealabs.
The game's official title will reportedly be Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, which sounds exactly like something Hideo Kojima would use to name his title, so we don't doubt this is indeed the real title.
The new trailer is expected to air on the PlayStation State of Play, which is rumoured to be coming sometime in early February. Obviously, none of this is officially announced at the moment, so take the info with a dose of scepticism.
Several reliable insiders suggested that the PlayStation State of Play should air in the coming weeks so we expect the official confirmation from Sony sometime next week or in the first week of February, depending on when the show is actually premiering.
Death Stranding 2 is certainly one of the games that we expect to see at such a show, given that eagled-eyed gamers noticed three months ago that Hideo Kojima was editing a new video titled "State of Play DS2 trailer".
All in all, we're very excited to see more of Death Stranding 2 and where it goes next in terms of the story and setting. The reveal trailer gave us a glimpse of a desert region with massive structures and confirmed the return of beloved characters - Lea Seydoux's Fragile and Norman Reedus' Sam Bridges.
Death Stranding 2 is only confirmed for PlayStation 5 at the moment. We also expect to see it on PC at some point after the launch on Sony's console.
