Bloober Team, the developers of the upcoming horror title The Medium have released a brand new video which showcases 14 minutes of spooky new gameplay.
The upcoming Xbox and PC exclusive The Medium has a brand new gameplay trailer which gives us a closer look at the characters, locations and some of the mechanics in the game. Judging by the gameplay, it looks like we're looking at the early stages of the game since the main protagonist is just meeting the spooky girl named Sadness, which was revealed in previous trailers.
Interestingly, the game's camera is not your standard third-person perspective camera, which gives us some serious Silent Hill vibes. Of course, this is not surprising at all since Bloober Team already said the game is heavily inspired by the iconic horror title.
In case you are not familiar with The Medium, it's a unique horror title that features patented dual-reality gameplay, which allows players to experience both the real and the spirit world at the same time. The soundtrack for the game has been co-composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski and Akira Yamaoka.
The Medium is officially hitting the shelves on January 28, 2021, for PC and Xbox Series X|S. At the moment, we do not know whether the game will also arrive to PlayStation 5. Some rumours suggested that The Medium is a timed Xbox exclusive but guess we'll have to wait and see about that.
