NetherRealm Studios have released a new gameplay trailer, showcasing the Terminator and his moves. The T-800 model comes with two skin variants named Battle Damaged and Younger.
As you may know, Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 Terminator is coming soon to Mortal Kombat 11, and to celebrate the release, NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have released a brand new gameplay trailer, showcasing Arnie's moves, brutalities and fatalities.
The short trailer shows T-800 using close-distance attacks, popping up grenades and of course, using his iconic repeater shotgun during the battle against poor Jax. During his entrance scene, Arnie pulls the shotgun from a box filled with Johnny Cage figures, which end up crushed under Arnie's legs. A cool way to introduce yourself as the game's new main action hero?
During a battle with Scorpion, T-800 gets burned by the ninja's fire breath but instead of suffering heavy damage, the Terminator uses his resurrection mechanic, which sees him shed its skin to continue the fight in his new, terrifying form.
During this form, it appears that T-800 becomes immune to many attacks from Scorpion including the most famous spear attack during which the ninja shouts the iconic "Get over here" line. All in all, it looks like T-800 has a lot of tricks in his bag and players should enjoy playing with him.
As for Terminator's fatality move, you can bet it's one of the coolest we've seen in the game. First off, Arnie pulls his shotgun and rips Jax's legs below the knees. Then he uses time travel ability to send the poor guy to Terminator-ravaged future, where one of the machines obliterates him with an energy weapon.
The Terminator also comes with two skin variants - Battle Damaged and Younger. As the names suggest, in Battle Damaged variant, Arnie is all bloody and without skin on his left arm while the Younger variant is representing Arnie from Terminator 2: Judgment Day film.
Kombat Pack owners get Arnie on 08 October 2019, while everybody else will be able to pick him up roughly a week later.
