Sony and developer Guerrilla Games have revealed a glimpse of a stunning Horizon Forbidden West gameplay on the last-gen console PlayStation 4 Pro.
Guerrilla Games's action-adventure Horizon Forbidden West is hitting the shelves in a couple of weeks and today, the dev team decided to show us a small glimpse of gameplay from the last-gen console PlayStation 4 Pro.
So far, we only got to see gameplay from PlayStation 5 which looked truly stunning and by the looks of it, the last-gen version isn't that far behind when it comes to graphical fidelity. As you can see in the gameplay snippets below, Horizon Forbidden West is quite the looker even on much weaker hardware.
Though, it is worth mentioning that we don't know the true specifications of this last-gen version. In the released PS4 Pro screenshots, we've seen that the level of detail on foliage is much lower while the draw distance also seems to be decreased when compared to the PS5 version.
Until both PS5 and PS4 Pro versions are properly tested side by side, we'll reserve our judgment and enjoy these short gameplay snippets.
Horizon Forbidden West is officially hitting the shelves on February 18, 2022, for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
