Following the recent rumours that suggested a re-release and the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West, Sony have today officially confirmed the news.
Horizon Forbidden West is indeed coming to the PC platform via Steam and Epic Games Store and you can wishlist it now on both storefronts.
Sadly, the details about the PC version are pretty scarce. We only know it's coming sometime in early 2024 and the team behind the port is Nixxes Software.
Sony did promise to share more information about PC features, support and details on system requirements in the coming weeks in months.
But it's safe to expect standard PC features like unlocked frame rate, ultrawide monitor support, FOV slider, extensive graphical settings and potentially ray-tracing features.
To be honest, even if the PC version didn't include any additional features, Horizon Forbidden West still looks amazing thanks to highly detailed environments and impressive facial animations.
In addition to the announcement of the PC version, Sony also confirmed a Complete Edition of the game which will cost $59.99. The Complete Edition is launching on October 6, 2023, with the following content:
