Arrowhead Game Studios has recently rolled out a fresh patch for Helldivers 2, targeting the plethora of stability and crashing issues that have plagued the game in recent weeks.
With each successive update, whether introducing Warbonds, Stratagems, or new enemy types, more issues seemed to arise, resulting in numerous bugs and crashes.
Arrowhead's Community Manager announced on Discord that:
"Fellow Helldivers! I just briefly want to say that we're aware of the crashes primarily surrounding extraction and the end of missions that a lot of you are currently facing. There's a hotfix arriving very soon that we hope will mitigate this. We should have written a post about this here sooner, but for several reasons, we were not communicative this time. Sorry about that.
There are some unofficial workarounds circulating in troubleshooting that might work for some. Again, however, the hotfix is being launched soon, so hopefully crashless diving will be available to us all again soon.
P.S. Kudos to everyone for the patience and hard work you've managed to put in this weekend despite the issues at hand! We're humbled and impressed as always." -Twinbeard
