New concept art shows one of the settlements in Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 with volcanic rivers and massive shores.
Hellblade developer Ninja Theory have shared brand new concept art for their highly anticipated cinematic action-adventure Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. The new concept art is just what you would expect from Hellblade - a dark environment that oozes with atmosphere and immersion.
Ninja Theory say that the concept art showcases one of the shore settlements that players will get to visit in the game. In the concept art we can also see rivers of lava flowing around the village, a warrior (could be Senua) standing on the cliff overlooking the village and the angry ocean waves.
Overall, it's a stunning piece of art and we cannot wait to see how this particular location translates to Unreal Engine 5, which is being used to build Senua's next adventure.
Ninja Theory already showcased some stunning gameplay at The Game Awards 2021 and recently, they also released a couple of images, showing Senua's photorealistic model in the game.
It's safe to say that when it comes to visual fidelity, Ninja Theory are becoming one of the leading Xbox Game Studios. The team moved into a brand new studio following the acquisition by Microsoft and have been hiring talent ever since. They also revealed their state-of-the-art motion capture studio which is used to bring Senua and other Hellblade 2 characters to life.
