Bungie will rework more vendors in the near future and Banshee-44 is the next one in line, meaning you really need to get rid of your Gunsmith materials.
Another season coming to an end, another vendor getting reworked - it's business as usual in Destiny 2 . This time around, it's Banshee's turn to get reworked and those who played over the past few seasons already know the drill as he will basically work the same as Zavala and Shaxx but with different gear.
This also means the associated tokens will be removed from the game eventually, such as the Gunsmith Materials and Weapon Telemetries. As such, it is advised to use up all of these items you hoarded over the years before February 22, 2022, rolls around.
Players will earn reputation with Banshee by dismantling Legendary and Exotic weapons and armour as well as completing the daily Gunsmith bounties in the future.
Additionally, Mod Components will leave as neither Banshee nor Ada will be using them anymore. Their mods will cost 10,000 Glimmer in the future and each vendor will now offer four mods per reset, instead of two.
Since Weapon Telemetries are getting removed, there will be no need for the Ghost mods that enhanced the frequency at which you get them.

Therefore, the next expansion will also get rid of Arc, Solar and Void Analyzer mods, on top of Omni-Telemetry and Banshee Special.
