Grand Theft Auto 6 could be released between April 2024 and March 2025, according to Rockstar, who expect to launch several groundbreaking titles in the fiscal year 2025.
In their latest financial report, Rockstar Games have provided a big update on their upcoming projects, including Grand Theft Auto 6 , and what they expect to achieve in the upcoming fiscal year 2025, which starts in April 2024 and ends in March 2025.
Rockstar state that they expect to enter this new era of gaming by launching several groundbreaking titles that will set new standards in the gaming industry and rake in over $8 billion for the company.
The publisher said they have been preparing for an incredibly robust pipeline of projects that will take them to even greater success. "In Fiscal 2025, we expect to enter this new era by launching several groundbreaking titles that we believe will set new standards in our industry and enable us to achieve over $8 billion in Net Bookings and over $1 billion in Adjusted Unrestricted Operating Cash Flow," it's written in the report.
So, what does this mean for Grand Theft Auto 6? Well, as you might have guessed, this is a pretty clear indication that this long-awaited mammoth of a video game will be launching in April 2024 at the earliest. A more realistic date would probably be Holiday 2024 but don't be surprised if we see a delay into 2025, given that the scope of the game is surely something that the industry has not seen before.
Nonetheless, the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 is nearing its end so expect to see the first teaser trailer very soon. Our guess would be that the reveal trailer could be coming by the end of 2023 as Rockstar love to announce their games one year in advance.
