Gran Turismo 7 was showcased once again at last night's PlayStation Showcase where the team gave a closer look at the vehicle customisation and more. Also, the March 4 release date was finally confirmed, too.
Sony's big exclusive Gran Turismo 7 is officially coming on March 4, 2022, it's been announced in the last night's PlayStation Showcase event, where we also got to see a new trailer for the game.
The three-minute trailer gave us a first look at some of the customisation options that will be in the game, photo mode features as well as some tiny bits of gameplay on different tracks and under different weather conditions.
Gran Turismo franchise fans probably expected to see more, at least one full race but it looks like we'll have to wait another couple of months for that to happen. Still, there's plenty of gameplay snippets in the video which show us that the game looks great at least in terms of visual quality.
It may not be a massive jump that we expected and that's probably due to the PlayStation 4 version which is holding it back but overall, visually, Gran Turismo 7 sure is pretty, especially in rain (those reflections are so sweet).
Gran Turismo 7 is a cross-gen title and will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
You can find a detailed description of all the new features we've seen in the trailer over at the PlayStation Blog.
