Gran Turismo 7 received Update 1.57 from Sony and Polyphony Digital which includes new content as well as enhanced AI alongside fresh event offerings.
The latest update brings three new cars to Gran Turismo 7 along with expanded Café options and three fresh World Circuit events while improving GT Sophy AI to enhance race realism.
Players of Gran Turismo 7 can now purchase three new vehicles which are available through Brand Central and the Used Cars dealership.
New cars added in Update 1.57
The Aston Martin Vantage ’18 sports coupe embodies the bold styling and robust performance characteristics which have established the Vantage series since 2005.
A 4.0L twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V8 engine provides 502 BHP power enabling this car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 195 mph. The car offers superior handling thanks to the lighter frame and shorter wheelbase compared to the DB11 V8.
The Mazda CX-30 Smart Edition ’21 represents a contemporary compact SUV that incorporates Mazda’s SKYACTIV-X technology with a 2.0L gasoline direct injection engine paired with a spark-controlled compression ignition system. The vehicle includes driver-assist technologies such as Active Driving Display (HUD) and Smart Brake Support which enhance vehicle safety.
The 2001 Renault Kangoo model features a 1.4L engine and delivers 73 BHP while initially serving as a small commercial van. Although it isn't the quickest vehicle available, its flexible suspension system allows it to handle various types of off-road and mixed terrain driving conditions.
New Café Menu and World Circuits Events
The Café menu now features a new entry to provide players with additional objectives:
- Extra Menu No. 45: Suzuki Collection (Collector Level 35 required).
Three new World Circuits events have become available for players:
- Sunday Cup: Brands Hatch Indy Circuit
- The European Clubman Cup 600 event takes place at Deep Forest Raceway Reverse for World Circuits competition.
- Japanese FF Challenge 450: Tokyo Expressway – Central Counterclockwise
A new Scapes location addition of The Faroe Islands allows players to create more diverse photography compositions.
GT Sophy AI Upgraded to Version 2.1
Update 1.57 features a significant enhancement through the upgrade to GT Sophy 2.1 which serves as the game's AI-powered racing assistant.
GT Sophy can now be used in Custom Race mode so players can race against AI opponents across every track and layout while Polyphony Digital has yet to fully disclose what improvements have been made. The PS5 version exclusively offers this feature.
Regular updates to Gran Turismo 7 bring continuous enhancements as this new patch boosts realism and competitive gameplay while expanding the game’s variety.
