Rumour has it that God of War: Ragnarok has received 18+ rating in Saudi Arabia which suggests the game's development is entering final stages.
SIE Santa Monica's blockbuster PlayStation 5 exclusive God of War: Ragnarok still does not have a specific release date but it seems that we could be getting one very soon. The game has reportedly been rated by Saudi Arabia rating board GCAM.
God of War: Ragnarok received a rating of 18+ due to its blood and gore, intense violence and strong language, which is basically the same rating as God of War 2018 received.
Usually, when games get rated from various rating boards, this suggests that the release date is not that far away. Though, don't expect God of War in the next couple of months since Sony are launching another major exclusive Horizon Forbidden West and they certainly don't want these two competing with each other.
Our guess for the release date would be mid to late 2022, which is basically what the most recent PlayStation database release date leak revealed.
But as always with leaks and rumours, take that with a grain of salt until Sony finally share the release date. The announcement could be coming sometime in Q1 2022.
God of War is an exclusive for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles. It is yet to be announced for PC.
