Sucker Punch Productions' lone samurai fantasy Ghost of Tsushima has received the v1.06 patch today, which makes changes to the Traveler's Attire and fixes some bugs.
Now, the update clearly isn't a major one but it should make enough of a difference to make Ghost of Tsushima fans hop in, if only for a few more minutes. Which tends to turn into hours real easy, by the way, but I digress.
Sucker Punch's 1.06 patch comes with a juiced-up Traveler's Attire, whose usefulness is likely to exceed its looks after spending some time with it.
"The Traveler’s Attire has been enhanced to add new visual and audio cues hinting at nearby collectibles. These cues can replace or augment controller vibration in order to offer a better, more accessible experience", they wrote.
Ghost of Tsushima's text issues are once again on the menu, except this time it was about making expanded large text accessibility work on additional prompts and objective text.
Also fixed were three bugs, which are:
- Addressed a bug where users could encounter a black screen preventing progress in certain tales
- Addressed a bug where users could become stuck in some Yarikawa tales
- Additional bug and crash fixes
It's actually pretty refreshing seeing a dev insist on keeping everything out of players' way. Ghost of Tsushima's open-world is so drop-dead gorgeous that distracting players with UIs, traditional maps and whatnot, sounds more like a cruel joke than assistance.
