Genshin Impact has taken the gaming industry by storm and the player base keeps growing by each day. The release of a new character is probably one of the most exciting events in the game for the majority of the community. The recent live stream has revealed pretty much all of the content that we will see in the upcoming 2.1 update. Genshin Impact version 2.1 will bring many sizeable changes including new Inazuma islands to explore.
A recent post on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit has revealed a video featuring one of the new monsters we will see in 2.1 - the Electro Oceanid.
Update 2.1 will also bring three brand new Inazuma characters: Raiden Shogun, Sangonomiya Kokomi and Kojou Sara. Shogun and Kokomi are confirmed to be five-stars and Sara will be a four-star character.
It's safe to say that Kokomi is one of the most-anticipated characters in the game of Genshin Impact as players can't wait to pull for her. A recent tweet by another credible Genshin Impac leaker called abc64 has revealed that they've been some big adjustments to Kokomi during the ongoing beta phase.
Thanks to a credible Genshin Impact leaker called Lumie, we may already have the confirmed release date for one of the upcoming characters - Sangonomiya Kokomi. A recent tweet from a leaker called Lumie has revealed the release date for the fan-favourite Sangonomiya Kokomi. The tweet claims that Kokomi will get released on the second part of update 2.1 which should drop on September 1. This means that Kokomi will hit the live servers on September 21.
Her weapon of choice will be the Catalyst which makes her the second five-star Hydro Catalyst character, besides Mona. As you can see in the video above, upon activating her Elemental Burst, Kokomi will be able to run on water, which is similar to Mona's sprint interaction.
