Scott Cawthon, the creator of indie horror game Five Nights at Freddy's has announced multiple upcoming FNAF projects including a big deal AAA title along with VR and AR titles. Cawthon also said the console ports are 20 per cent complete.

Five Nights at Freddy's universe is getting a hefty amount of content incoming according to the game's creator Scott Cawthon. In a lengthy Steam post, Cawthon provided updates on the current projects and announced some new stuff. He started with FNAF VR which is 40 per cent done and it's been made in partnership with the company called Steel Wool Studios.

Cawthon also shed some light on the FNAF Augmented reality game, saying that the project is 10 per cent done and well underway but it's too early to talk about gameplay.

Speaking about the console ports, Five Nights at Freddy's creator revealed he's working with Clickteam studio to create new, improved HD versions of all previous games to Android, iOS, Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

One of the surprises was the news about the "big deal" in the works for "incredible" big budget game that is currently 0 per cent complete. No details have been revealed about the project as everything is in the early planning stage. Cawthon says he's working hard with the studio to deliver what he thinks fans want to see in FNAF.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Into Madness is the next game announced and it will be a compilation of previous gameplay ideas. Cawthon was specific that FNAF: Into Madness will be his solo project and if it happens, it will be free to play.

The movie has been delayed even though it didn't even have a release date. A new script is being written with the original one tossed as Cawthon prefers some different ideas, and it's determined to find the right story for the project.

Finishing up, we got info about the upcoming books which will be a collection of short horror stories from FNAF universe. The series will launch with five books and each will contain three different short stories with unique characters and plot lines connected directly to the games.
