Fallout 76 is getting its Wastelanders update next week. In celebration of the upcoming expansion, Bethesda have shared a second trailer for the update, along with some tips that should help the players make the most of West Virginia.
Fallout 76's Wastelanders update will launch on 14 April 2020. Bethesda have shared a new trailer along with the fresh soundtrack. The devs have also given us details on possible C.A.M.P. locations, and the Purveyor Mystery Pick event that’s taking place right now.
The second official trailer for the Wastelanders update
The new Wastelanders soundtrack is already available so you can get into the groove before the update hits. Inon Zur's score is now available on a variety of popular music platforms:
The Wastelanders update will bring a new type of currency as well as some new items.
The Gold Bullion will serve as the additional currency in Appalachia and you'll be introduced to it through the expansion's main story quests.
The new currency will allow you to trade with NPC vendors and get a variety of plans to craft new weapons, armour, and other items in exchange.
Veteran outfit rewards
All Vault 76 veterans who have been with the game for the past year and a half will get a unique outfit. The Veteran outfit will be available to anyone who has logged into Fallout 76 since launch on 14 November 2018, and before Wastelanders’ release.
The Wastelanders update will bring a bunch of new faces, quests, enemies, items and more. With all of this incoming content, there will be some areas in Appalachia where you could previously grow your C.A.M.P. that will now occupy the same space as the upcoming additions.
If your C.A.M.P. happens to be in the same spot the new content is supposed to take, you will be notified that it can no longer be placed. You will also be offered a free C.A.M.P. move.
Here is a map with the new “no-C.A.M.P.” zones marked out. Some zones may be a bit larger or smaller than their highlights on the map, so if your C.A.M.P. is currently near one of them you may want to consider moving prior to patch day.
Purveyor Murmrgh is hosting a garage sale of sorts and calling it the Mystery Pick event. The event started yesterday and will last the entire weekend.
You'll want to head to Murmrgh's shop inside of Berkeley Springs Station between the dates below to exchange 60 Legendary Scrips for a completely random three-star legendary item.
- Start: 4:00 p.m. GMT on Thursday, 9 April.
- End: 4:00 p.m. GMT on Monday, 13 April.
