Mediatonic's colourful platformer Fall Guys is now the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time and has crossed 7 million units on PC via Steam.
Fall Guys have taken the gaming community by a storm since its launch. This rather simple platformer has been praised as a breath of fresh air that has introduced some interesting new ideas, making the gameplay so addicting and fun.
Today, the publisher Devolver Digital have shared some impressive stats behind Fall Guys launch on PC and PlayStation 4. On Steam, Fall Guys has crossed 7 million units sold which is certainly an amazing achievement but the record on PlayStation 4 is even more imposing.
Devolver Digital and Sony revealed that as of today, Fall Guys is the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time on a global basis. Yes, you read that right, this colourful battle royale platformer has beaten the likes of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remaster and Shadow of the Colossus, titles that were previously available to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Fall Guys is certainly set to continue its success with a fresh batch of content coming during Season 2, which is set to be announced later this week. Another huge influx of players is expected once the game launches on Xbox and possibly Switch. The developers are yet to officially announce these ports, though.
Fall Guys is available on PC and PlayStation 4.
