Xbox's Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast has wrapped, and it leaned heavily into Japanese developers and publishers, with a mix of major sequels, new reveals and a few surprises along the way. Here's a full rundown of everything shown.

Hope in the City is a new investigative narrative adventure following a girl searching for her missing family. The game features a distinct art style, with players exploring the city to gather clues.
Hope in the City comes to XBOX Series X|S, XBOX on PC, and Game Pass on November 10, 2026, with XBOX Play Anywhere support.
Raji: Kaliyuga
A new trailer for Kaliyuga went into detail on the game's plot and gameplay, built around a dual protagonist system with combat leaning into acrobatic martial arts. Kaliyuga is coming to Xbox and PC, though no release date has been confirmed yet.
Once Human: Isles of Abyss
Once Human: Isles of Abyss is the biggest update yet built around a small fishing boat adventure, tasking players with fishing while avoiding, and presumably eventually fighting, massive sea monsters. It's a notably darker take on the fishing genre compared to the usual entries. Once Human: Isles of Abyss launches free-to-play on October 22.
Faraday Blues
Faraday Blues is a surreal sci-fi visual novel and strategy card game where every choice, every card, and every ending reshapes reality. Play across three interconnected stories and uncover many endings, each bringing you closer to the truth. Faraday Blues is available to wishlist today ahead of its launch on XBOX Series X|S and XBOX on PC. It will also have full support for XBOX Cloud and XBOX Play Anywhere.
Atelier Karia trailer

Genigods: Nezha
The developers behind Genigods: Nezha showed a new dev video focused on boss combat, mixing Devil May Cry-style aerial combat with more grounded fighting. The footage suggested a good amount of variety, both in weapons and abilities. Genigods: Nezha is coming to Xbox and PC in 2028.
Fallout 76
No Xbox showcase would be complete without a Fallout 76 update, and this time it's a Halloween-themed update called The Slasher. It's available now.
Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement
A new side-scrolling metroidvania with a distinctive art style, evoking the look of classic Castlevania games, was revealed as Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement. Published by 505 Games, it's coming to PC and Xbox Series X in 2027.
Kojima Productions gives an update on OD and PHYSINT
Xbox's broadcast ended with an update from Hideo Kojima himself, who shared where things currently stand on both of Kojima Productions' Xbox titles, OD: Knock and PHYSINT, following his recent meeting with Xbox CEO Asha Sharma.
On OD: Knock, Kojima confirmed development is progressing smoothly, describing it once again as a new kind of game built to test the threshold of fear. Performance capture and ADR recording, which had been paused during the SAG strike, resumed this year, and Kojima said production is proceeding on schedule. No gameplay footage was shown, with Kojima saying more will be shared further down the line.
On PHYSINT, Kojima gave a more detailed update, confirming steady progress on casting, performance capture scans, and collaborations with outside creators.
The full cast was also confirmed: Bill Skarsgård takes the lead role, alongside Charlee Fraser, Don Lee, and Minami Hamabe. Kojima described PHYSINT as the culmination of more than 40 years of his career, aiming to redefine "action-espionage" in a way unbound by existing genre conventions.
Kojima also confirmed his and Sharma's shared vision for the future of games and digital entertainment following their meeting, saying the two are "long-time fans of each other's work" and have decided to "embark on this new adventure together."
With that, Xbox's Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast comes to a close.
