Battlestate Games have followed their usual habit of leaving the Escape from Tarkov community with massive question marks over their heads. Those who do not actively follow the developers on Twitter might be a little confused so we are here to keep you up to speed with everything.
BSG took to Twitter to announce the new boss, Kaban who might be in the game by Thursday, August 10. While that was happening on Twitter, the Firesale went live in the game.
For those who don't know what the Firesale is, it is an event in Escape from Tarkov that goes live right before a wipe and all items during the event can be bought for 2 roubles.
The Firesale was announced on Twitter but went under the radar due to the announcement being through an image of a phone that has a chat open with messages written in Russian.
Due to not many players understanding Russian, they did not know that that was the moment the Firesale had started speculations of when the wipe will happen started appearing almost instantly.
Many agreed that the wipe is set to happen by the end of this week, most probably on Thursday along with the release of the new street boss.
The reason behind it is another teaser picture posted by Hunt Premier who host the Wipe Day Tournament. The picture is of a phone with a screen that had a massive crack over the date but players are certain that the date is August 10.
