After almost a full year of radio silence, From Software have released a brand new trailer for Elden Ring expansion Shadow of Erdtree.

Developer From Software have finally revealed the first gameplay for the highly anticipated Elden Ring expansion called Shadow of Erdtree. In a three-minute trailer, we got to see new bosses, enemy types, locations, spells, weapons and plenty of other gorgeous epic fantasy scenery that the Japanese studio are known for.

Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is officially set to launch on June 21, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The physical release will only be available on PC and current-gen consoles.

Judging by everything we've seen in the trailer, it does look like the expansion will be absolutely massive in scope, which could give some legs to previous rumours about Shadow of the Erdtree being the size of two DLCs that FromSoftware decided to merge into one big expansion.

In addition to the trailer, From Software and publisher Bandai Namco also revealed details on the game's multiple editions. Elden Ring will re-launch with the Game of the Year edition which costs $70 and includes both the base game and DLC. Furthermore, there's a new stunning Collector's Edition. More on that below.

ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition – includes a single voucher code of the selected platform for the ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree expansion and comes with a (46cm) statue of “Messmer the Impaler,” 40-page physical art book, and digital soundtrack. Quantities of the ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree Collector’s Edition are limited.
