EA have officially unveiled the logo, name and brand identity of their football game named EA Sports FC, which is set to replace the FIFA franchise at EA Sports.

Electronic Arts have today unveiled the first glimpse of their new football game and platform called EA Sports FC . The publisher showcased new brand vision, identity and logo for the game and shared the first details about how exactly their new project will look and work.

EA say that FC will become a platform to "create, innovate and grow new football experiences" while connecting fans worldwide through console, mobile, online and esports products. Over the coming days EA Sports FC brand will debut in more than 100 matches across the biggest leagues in the world including the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, WSL, NWSL, CONMEBOL and more.

Nick Wlodyka, SVP and GM of EA Sports FC said that this platform will be "a symbol for the sport, a symbol of innovation and change". More details and potentially the first gameplay will be revealed in July 2023.

As for the licences, which is what probably every FIFA fan is wondering about, EA promise unrivalled authenticity with more than 19,000 fully licensed players, 700 teams and 30 leagues.

Hopefully, we'll get more information about this in the coming months but fear not, the most popular clubs and leagues are licensed as per EA's official blog post which features EA Sports FC logo with logos of clubs like Liverpool, Man City, Bayern and competitions like Champions League.

We still don't know anything about the platforms or the release date but EA usually launched FIFA games in the second half of the year on platforms like PlayStation, Xbox and PC. It's safe to assume that they will follow a similar pattern with EA Sports FC.
